Let's Talk About Your Dog.
Reactivity, aggression, anxiety, or something you cannot put your finger on. The first conversation is free, and you will not get a sales pitch. Just an honest conversation with someone who has seen it before.
Or book a free 20-minute call. I answer every text personally, usually the same day.
Start However You Are Most Comfortable
Text me
The easiest place to start for a lot of people. Tell me what is going on in a sentence or two. You do not need the right words for it. I answer personally, usually the same day.
Call me
If it is easier to explain out loud, call. If I am in a session I will miss it, so leave a message or text and I will come back to you.
Book a free call
Pick a 20-minute slot that works for you. You tell me what is happening, I ask a few questions, and I tell you honestly whether this sounds like something I can help with. Nothing is owed and nothing is booked beyond the call itself.
Tell Me About Your Dog
I read every one of these myself.
What Happens Next
I get back to you myself
No answering service and no assistant. I read every message and reply personally, usually the same day.
A free 20-minute call
You tell me what is happening, I ask a few questions, and I tell you honestly whether this sounds like something I can help with and what the appropriate next step is.
A clear picture of the path
If Steller Dog Training is the right call, you will know what the next step looks like and what it costs before you decide anything. If I am not the right fit, I will say so and point you somewhere better.
Training starts where it makes sense for your dog
Because context matters, I often work in the real environments where the behavior shows up: your home, your street, the park you have started avoiding.
"The first call costs you twenty minutes and nothing else. I will tell you whether I think I can help and what I would recommend doing next. If I cannot help, I will tell you that too."
You do not need the right words. Just tell me what is happening.
Before You Reach Out
Do I come to you, or do you come to me?
I come to you. Because context matters, I often work in the real environments where the behavior shows up, which usually means your home, your street, your regular walking route, the park you have started avoiding, or the vet's parking lot.
My dog has been aggressive. Is that something you take?
Yes. Aggression is one of the areas I specialize in, including toward people, toward other dogs, resource guarding, and fear based aggression. If you have been putting off reaching out because of how serious it feels, reach out anyway. The call is free and I will be straight with you about what I think.
What areas do you serve?
Fort Worth and the surrounding DFW area, including Haslet, Keller, Saginaw, North Richland Hills, Haltom City, Richland Hills, Euless, Bedford, Azle, and Weatherford. If you are not sure whether you are in range, text me and I will tell you.
What does it cost?
The free 20-minute call costs nothing. If you decide to move forward, every new client starts with a $250 Initial Consultation, held online. From there, training cost depends on the program. Every package price is published on the site so you can see the full range before you speak with me. You can view the training packages here.
Do you use shock collars or prong collars?
No. No shock collars, prong collars, choke chains, fear, pain, or intimidation as training tools. I use reward-based training, management, gradual behavior change, and safer alternative responses. Punishing warning signals can suppress communication without resolving what is driving the behavior.
We have tried other trainers and nothing worked. Can you actually help?
Maybe, and I will not know until I learn more. A previous plan not helping does not mean your dog cannot make progress. The method, environment, medical factors, management, goals, or support may not have matched what your dog needed. The free call helps me decide what needs a closer look and whether I am the right person to do it.
Fort Worth and All of DFW
I train wherever the behavior is happening. If you are in the DFW area and not sure whether you are covered, just ask.
One text is enough to get started.
You do not need to have it figured out before you reach out. That is the part I help with.
I answer every text personally, usually the same day: (817) 217-8542
